companies, and fire departments who continue to help us towards a fire safe and burn free Wisconsin. We also recognized burn camp staff for their years of service at camp and recognized our burn camp staff of the year.
We are proud to be a part of the Wisconsin Smoke Alarm Fire Education (WisSAFE) Coalition.
Over the last three years we delivered over 16,000 smoke alarms to more
than 200 fire departments to install. The WisSAFE Coalition works to prevent the devastating effects of fire through smoke alarm installation and education. Fire Departments can still receive free smoke alarms to install in the homes of at-risk populations in their communities through the Red Cross. Please contact us for more information.
The Wisconsin Fire Sprinkler Coalition works to identify and overcome the barriers of fire sprinklers. We have accomplished a lot over the last couple of years and look forward to showcasing the importance of fire sprinklers again
at the Metropolitan Builders Association Home Building and Remodeling Show at Wisconsin State Fair Park January 11 - 13, 2019 .
We are bringing like-minded people and organizations together to help us create a fire safe and burn free Wisconsin. Please consider joining the Alliance for Fire Safety by visiting Together we can make a greater difference and save lives.
Assistance Ready When Needed Most; Memorial and Honor Guard Pay Tribute
Our Disaster Assistance Program provides immediate assistance to fire fighters and their families in time of need. Instances include Line of Duty Death, Severe Illness or Traumatic Injury, Personal Tragedy, Treatment Assistance and Referral to additional Resources.
We continue the Wisconsin State Fire Fighter’s Memorial mission to maintain
a memorial honoring all fire fighters
in Wisconsin. Recognizing not only
those who have given their lives as the ultimate sacrifice, but also to honor those who have and continue to serve their communities.
We also, assist and enhance the PFFW Honor Guard mission to render tribute and to honor our fallen brothers and sisters, assist departments and locals in Wisconsin in time of need; and properly display and show respect towards the colors we fly and the proud profession we serve.
The Professional Fire Fighters of Wisconsin Charitable Foundation provides programs, services, and support to increase the health and safety of fire fighters. We plan on rolling out more support for the health and safety of fire fighters soon.
